TEHRAN – An Azerbaijan’s naval fleet has berthed at the northern Iranian port city of Bandar-e Anzali on a friendly three-day visit for the first time in the history of the two countries’ relations, Press TV reported on Friday.

The Azeri peace and friendship flotilla is comprised of a Stenka-class G124 patrol boat. It docked at Bandar-e Anzali Thursday night.

The visit is aimed at strengthening cooperation among Iran and the Caspian Sea littoral states.
